These last to additions came along just one week apart.
The one on the left, Choxee, was waiting for us in the front yard when we got home late one Monday night. After posting online ads, ads in the newspaper, radio announcements, talking to animal control and the police for over two weeks, nobody claimed her. She is now a full-fledged member of the Zoo Crew. The one on the right, Kilo, came home with Art from work a week after Choxee came along. One of his coworkers found this one wandering the streets and could not find an owner. The co-worker lives in an apartment and nobody else at work would take him, so they gave him to Art. When he arrived, he could not have been more than 10 weeks old. He is readily adapting to live in the Zoo Crew. He is in the beginning stages of house training - and I must say I was not ready to go through this with another dog. Thankfully, Choxee, on the left, was already house trained. |
